Maybe she could still live with the Yamadas but she could visit her family every single day. I'm hoping they can finally reunite in the next book and then everything will be happy and perfect and all my problems will disappear and world peace will be achieved. In this one, Chi almost meets her mom that she got separated from in the beginning of volume 1.
We don’t have a reading list for your classroom. Chi discovers that the black bear cat is still there, she just can't see him. A 3DCG anime television adaptation lasting two seasons aired from October 2016 to September 2018. I also really liked getting to reunite with old friends while also meeting new characters. I love Blackie so much, and I'm glad that he's back.

It has all the charm and fun that I want from my books while also having a plot that I can't help but be invested in. Additionally, this book is over 450 pages long, so it's making my average number of pages read even longer, because right now it's a hundred pages less than last years'. Just like with the last book, I read this in one sitting, and I already would have read the next book by now, but I needed to write the review for this book first. If I didn't wait the books would have gotten mixed up in mind, and I also don't want to accidentally spoil the next book in this one. The art in this manga is delightful with the use of a lot of bright colors.
The Complete Chi's Sweet Home: Part 2 (Chi's Sweet Home #
Seeing Chi's reactions to receiving food, playing, meeting the other cat and hearing her thoughts on her experiences with the humans is not only unique, but is also hilarious! I really felt like the author was spot on with Chi's reactions to certain situations and to the family members. My favorite thing about the story is the journey to the eventual reunion between Chi and her family. Chi finally met her auntie/mother's friend, and we even got to see her mother for ourselves. I had a bad feeling while reading the last book that something would have happened to Chi's mother before the two could reunite, but now I'm not worried about that anymore. I do feel a bit conflicted about the whole situation because I want Chi to stay with the Yamadas, but I also want her to be with her family.
The manga adaptation of the landmark animated series that changed the mecha genre. Each volume contains three of the original graphic novels and includes pages of stunning, full-color art. While being housebroken, the kitten mistakenly answers to "Chi" (as in shi- from shikko, the Japanese word for "urine") and this becomes her name. Chi then lives with her new family, learning about different things and meeting new people and animals.

This time, Chi finds another cat; about the same size and age and the two become friends . Beautifully illustrated and simplistically amazing. Chi is a mischievous newborn kitten who, while on a leisurely stroll with her family, finds herself lost.
As many know, moving can be stressful, especially when there are pets involved. Chi doesn't like this whole moving thing, nor does she like the new apartment until she realizes that she can make the whole apartment her's. I didn't really care for the side plot of getting Chi back to her mother. Chi's already forgotten her and it feels too convenient to have them just reunite together when Chi has a home.

There's more of that vet humor action, and Chi has a big, scary cat invade his house but he sort of ends up being Chi's mentor in The Way of the Cat.

This book is also relatable because when Chi met a big black cat he just came and strolled in her neighborhood and Chi was trying to chase him away herself. I thought that the pictures are so detailed and it was great how it was drawn. Chi's expressions were just soooo cute and I couldn't stop myself from saying "awwwwwe" every time I saw Chi's cute expressions and cute ways of doing things. I like keeping a volume of this manga around for a literary rainy day - the watercolor-esque art is pretty, it reads easy, and Chi makes me smile. That being said, I ending up liking the first volume a little more than this one. The best thing to read when you're having a fever is something funny and nice to distract yourself while not being too difficult to absorb.

In her nearly thirty year career, Konami has penned more than a dozen comic series, with the majority of them focusing on cats and pets. Konami is well regarded within the pet-manga community for her keen sense of cat ecology. Her ability to observe and render feline behavior has earned her respect from the Japanese manga community as a whole. Chi's Sweet Home will be Konami's first translated work. This edition continues the story of Chi and the Yamada family. While Chi is trying to learn to be a cat, the Yamadas continue to hide Chi from the super as they are not allowed to have pets.
I love the illustration style of Chi and the other animals she encounters. The animals are simply adorable and I loved the introduction of new ones in this volume. The author does an amazing job depicting Chi's chaotic movement particularly in comparison to other characters.

I have a feeling that the next book is going to start off with Chi being missing, the Yamadas finding her collar, and then seeing Chi's missing poster. It's because the plot controls what they see and when they see it. Chi's Sweet Home is recognized as one of the most popular cartoon properties in Japan today. Chi, the titular cat character, is beloved by fans worldwide on the Internet and mass media.
Just as cute as the first book in the series, Chi's Sweet Home Volume 2 left me wanting to adopt a kitten. My eight year old niece thought that this volume was funnier than the first, however, and at several points she was laughing out loud. Literacy, and vocabulary expansion along with entertainment is always good, so as long as she keeps expressing interest in Chi, I'll keep bringing these books to her. Chi is at it again, having adventures and getting into trouble! In this volume we see Chi becoming more comfortable with her human companions. But what will Chi do when a new cat comes into the apartment complex?
